After the events of Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin, makes a play to take the reins of Gotham’s underworld. Except for the bat signal in the last finale of the season, we never got one. In this short video, IMDb tries to answer: Where was Batman?.

Colin Farrell fought hard to get his version of The Penguin Smoking Tobacco in Batman (2022), but failed. However, his own series portrays the character as an occasional tobacco user, preferring cigars. The umbrella drops and the logo changes to the Warner Bros logo.

I’ve been waiting for The Penguin since it was first announced that the series would be released, and I can say that it’s every bit as good as I hoped it would be. He was outstanding in Batman and is even better in the lead role.
One great crime drama
Also, Cristin Milioti is just as good as Sofia Falcone. The two fight to see who is the #1 gangster in Gotham and “bring order to all the chaos.” Some people were worried that a supporting character like The Penguin wouldn’t be able to carry the show and wouldn’t work if you didn’t have Batman or Bruce Wayne, but fear not, because it’s more than just a villain character in a superhero show. It’s a gritty, violent crime drama that’s a lot of fun to watch.
