Edited as CollegeHumor Originals: Breaking Bad/Walking Dead Mash-Up (2013)
Dead fingers talk while working in a nuclear-free city. 'Breaking Bad' is one of the top-rated shows on IMDb, is one of those rare shows where each season has either been very positively received or almost universally critically acclaimed and all my friends have nothing but good things to say about it. Very few shows in recent memory have had me so hooked from the start that before the week was over, I had watched the entire show, especially since with many shows now, watching a single episode to the end can be an effort. 'Breaking Bad' affected me that way, and its reputation as one of the best, most consistently brilliant, and most addictive shows in many years (maybe even ever) is more than deserved in my eyes. Its weakest season is perhaps the first season, which is understandable, because the first season of any show is the one where things are still being resolved. In fact, everything is remarkably established from the start, but as the writing and characterizations get even fatter, the show reaches an even higher level. Visually, “Breaking Bad” is one of those stylish and beautiful shows, with cinematic photography and editing that puts a lot of movies these days to shame, with a lot of visually beautiful but also painfully amateurish-looking ones.
The direction couldn’t be better
The music always has the right mood, never too intrusive, never too subdued. The writing for the movie “Breaking Bad”; is a good example of all shows how much style, but also a lot of substance. The dialogue is thought-provoking and tense throughout, but there is also a darkly wicked sense of humor and a heart-wrenching pathos. The stories are textured, intimate, tense and layered, and their pace is consistently deliberate but tense. There’s nothing bad to say about the acting.
